Conventional-origin bank with an Islamic Banking Division and a three-scholar Shariah Board. anb's credit card terms name TAWARRUQ (the cardholder irrevocably appoints anb's Islamic Banking Operation as agent to buy and sell commodities whenever a balance is outstanding at the due date) and anb publishes a CHARITY CLAUSE: "The delay fine shall be paid under the supervision of the Bank's Sharia Committee in the aspects of charity approved by the Committee." Unique among these four banks, anb prices the monthly profit margin by CUSTOMER RISK GRADE rather than by card: 2.49% / 2.79% / 2.99% / 3.25% since 17 August 2025 (previously 2.20% / 2.49% / 2.79% / 2.99%). Its published per-card APRs are footnoted as computed on a 2.20% monthly rate - the superseded Grade-1 figure - so every published APR understates what a customer pays today. anb also aligned every card fee to the SAMA Article 48 caps on 19 July 2025 (replacement 100 to 15, late payment 100 to 50, international 2.75% to 2%, dispute 50 to 25, e-wallet top-up 75 to free).
