Who Noor Bank are

A fully Islamic bank — every product it offers is Shariah-compliant.

DEFUNCT AS A CARD ISSUER. DIB's own migration FAQ states: 'Noor Bank (NB) has been acquired by Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and therefore we are migrating all the products and services to DIB' and 'Your NB card will be replaced by DIB card'. Delivery of replacement DIB cards ran 15 Aug 2020 to 15 Oct 2020 with no replacement charge; credit limits, balances, EPP/Easy Cash/Balance Transfer plans and unredeemed loyalty points (converted to Wala'a rewards at AED equivalent) all carried over. Noor issued Mastercard; customers received Visa from DIB. The Shariah structure of the card portfolio was converted from TAWARRUQ (Noor) to SALAM (DIB), and DIB required customer non-objection to that conversion before the credit limit was loaded onto the replacement card. The monthly rate applied at the 2020 conversion was 3.15%; the current DIB rate is 3.69%. NO Noor Bank card product NAMES are published in any DIB document found, so no individual Noor card records were created -- naming them would be fabrication. No Noor Bank consumer card is available today.
