Who Sohar Islamic are

An Islamic window: a Shariah-compliant division inside a conventional bank.

The legal identity is confirmed verbatim in its own card Terms and Conditions: "'Bank' means Sohar Islamic, Islamic banking window of Sohar International Bank S.A.O.G and its successors and assigns." Structure is Ujrah — the T&C define 'Monthly Subscription Fee' and 'Ujrah Fee' as the same fixed monthly amount — and the T&C do not name the underlying credit contract. Distinctive commercially: every tier has a FREE primary card and a free first supplementary card, with the entire cost loaded into the monthly Ujrah (OMR 20/30/75/120 by tier). Range: Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, Signature, Infinite. Signature carries unlimited Priority Pass; Infinite is partly by invitation and carries the highest published Ujrah in Oman.
