Who Alizz Islamic Bank are

A fully Islamic bank — every product it offers is Shariah-compliant.

IMPORTANT CORRECTION TO THE BRIEF: Alizz Islamic Bank is NOT dormant, absorbed or discontinued. Its site is live with a build stamped 1.2025.12.18 and a credit card fee schedule stated as 'Effective 2nd February 2026'. Its own overview page reads: 'The Bank was established in September 2013, Alizz Islamic Bank is known as one of the first dedicated Islamic banks in Oman'. Two consumer credit cards: the Alizz ONE Platinum Visa and the Tharwa Infinite Visa, both tied to the bank's Tharwa priority-banking proposition (annual fee and first three supplementary cards waived for Tharwa customers). Alizz is the ONLY Omani Islamic issuer that does not name the Shariah contract behind its cards, and the only one that publishes no minimum salary or age band. Its Shariah marker is the fee line 'Obligation to Donate Due to Late Payment' (a flat OMR 10, not a percentage). Card content is delivered by a client-side SPA with an authenticated CMS API; nothing renders to a plain fetch — see OM-notes.md for the retrieval route used.
