Every Shariah-compliant card Standard Chartered Saadiq currently offers, with the contract behind each one and the fee schedule it came from.
An Islamic window: a Shariah-compliant division inside a conventional bank.
Bangladesh Bank's May 2026 statistics record Standard Chartered Bank as running exactly ONE Islamic banking window in Bangladesh — and that single window issues two Islamic credit cards, the Saadiq Visa Platinum and the Saadiq Visa Gold. THE MOST INTERESTING SHARIAH DESIGN IN THIS DATASET: a carried balance is automatically transferred out of the Card Account into a 'Service Account' defined in the Card Agreement as 'the non-interest and non-profit bearing account', so the balance itself never accrues anything; the bank's income is the monthly Ujrah maintenance fee. The Agreement then expressly waives profit altogether at clause 21, 'WAIVER OF INTEREST'. Late payment is costs-based with any surplus donated to charity. Published maintenance fees are MAXIMA and may be waived at the bank's discretion. PHANTOM TIER: the Schedule of Charges prices a third card, the 'Saadiq Green Credit Card' (BDT 1,500 annual fee, BDT 1,200 maximum monthly maintenance fee), in full — yet it appears on no web page and in no navigation. Treat it as unlaunched or withdrawn, not live. NOTE the contrast with the same group's Pakistan operation, which uses Commodity Murabaha with a 45% APR rather than ujrah with no profit at all.
