What makes this card Islamic

Saudi National Bank builds this card on a Tawarruq contract. The bank sells you a commodity on credit at a marked-up price, you sell that commodity to somebody else for cash, and the cash becomes your spending limit.

Article 10 of the SNB credit card T&C governs the Tawarruq mechanism used across all SNB card types. No card-specific Shariah documentation was found for this product.

Approved by SNB Sharia Board, under the supervision of Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

Before you apply

  • SNB lists this card URL in its own sitemap but publishes no fee, no rate and no benefit detail for it anywhere we could find. Status recorded as unknown - it may be a placeholder, an unreleased product, or a card marketed only inside Private Banking.
  • Do not assume it shares the fee-exempt/26.81% terms of the Private World Elite card; that mapping is unverified.

Can you get it?

Other conditions
Presumed SNB Private Banking customers. The card URL in SNB's own sitemap redirects to the general Private Banking programme page, which carries no card-level detail.

Where these figures come from

Last checked against Saudi National Bank’s published documents on 2026-08-17. Banks change fees without notice, so treat the bank’s own document as the final word, not this page.

  • “https://www.alahli.com/en/cards/private-world-legend-credit-card - listed in SNB's own sitemap.xml; the page served is the general Private Banking programme page with no card-specific content.”

What we could not verify

Saudi National Bank does not publish annual fee, supplementary card fee, monthly profit rate, annual profit rate, network, tier, over-limit fee, cash withdrawal fee, foreign currency markup, replacement card fee, takaful cover, minimum income, minimum age, maximum age, documents required, reward headline, reward caps, key benefits, best for, shariah certificate, apr for this card, so we have left those blank rather than guess. If you need one of them, ask the bank directly and hold them to the answer in writing.
