Who Bank Muamalat are

A fully Islamic bank — every product it offers is Shariah-compliant.

Malaysia's second full-fledged Islamic bank, incorporated 1 October 1999. Bank Muamalat has NOT exited the credit card business - the opposite: it ENTERED it recently and is expanding. Its maiden credit cards, the Visa Platinum-i and Visa Infinite-i, launched in 2022, followed by the Pos Malaysia co-brands (February 2024), the AmanahRaya co-brand (December 2024) and the EON co-brands. Seven consumer credit cards-i were found, all on the Visa network and all on a single Tawarruq contract documented in one Product Disclosure Sheet. Because the bank had no legacy credit card, there is no bai' al-inah to tawarruq migration for this issuer - it launched directly on Tawarruq. Business cards (Visa Infinite Business, Visa Platinum Business, Visa Platinum Business Petrol, Muamalat CGC Visa Platinum Business, Visa Purchasing) exist but are out of scope here. Bank Muamalat also issues a separate Debit Card-i.
