Bahrain · 3 cards
Every Shariah-compliant card Al Salam Bank currently offers, with the contract behind each one and the fee schedule it came from.
A fully Islamic bank — every product it offers is Shariah-compliant.
Established in Bahrain in 2006; 'Licensed and Regulated as an Islamic Retail Bank by the Central Bank of Bahrain'. Al Salam is the consolidator in Bahrain's Islamic retail merger wave: it acquired Ithmaar Bank's consumer banking business and, separately, Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain. Its own site carries a dedicated '/en/ithmaar-bank/' page and a '/en/formerly-kuwait-finance-house/' section, plus '2022 – Acquisition Details' and '2024 – Acquisition Details' entries in its About Us navigation, and it still hosts the legacy KFH Bahrain credit card terms under the entity name 'ASB Finance B.S.C. (C)'. Three live consumer credit cards: Platinum, Signature and Visa Infinite, all Visa. Like BisB it prices cards as a Monthly Service Fee with an annual maximum rather than a profit rate. Both the late payment penalty and any FX mark-up above actual cost are transferred to a charity account.
