What makes this card Islamic
AlRayan Bank builds this card on a Murabahah contract. The bank buys the thing you want, then sells it to you at a stated cost plus a stated profit, payable later.
AlRayan states the card is 'a financing formula accredited by Shari'ah Board allows obtaining goods, services and/or cash by way of International Murabaha'. If the full balance is paid by the due date no Murabaha takes place; if only the minimum is paid, the Bank sells commodities to the cardholder for the remaining balance in one one-month instalment (T&C 3.6-3.7).
Approved by Sharia Supervisory Board, under the supervision of Qatar Central Bank (QCB).

Before you apply
- AlRayan lists this tier only in its retail tariff; there is no dedicated product page, so benefits and earn rates are not published.
- Cash withdrawal costs 4% (minimum QAR 20) whether the ATM is inside or outside Qatar - higher than QIB's flat 3%.
- Late payment triggers a QAR 50 'commitment to donate' fee, which AlRayan books as a charity commitment rather than income.
