NO LONGER A SEPARATE ISSUER - all AUBK card products are treated as discontinued. KFH announced in September 2024 that it "has successfully completed the merger steps between Kuwait Finance House and the formerly Ahli United Bank - Kuwait" and that "the accounts and products of over 280,000 formerly AUBK customers were migrated", with "more than 80 systems" integrated and services and products unified. The Central Bank of Kuwait's current register of Kuwaiti Islamic banks lists only four names - Kuwait International Bank, Kuwait Finance House, Boubyan Bank and Warba Bank - and does not include Ahli United Bank. UNVERIFIED: the date on which AUB Kuwait converted from conventional to Islamic banking (a 2019 conversion date was put to this research but no CBK or AUB primary source confirming it was reachable; AUBK's own Kuwaiti website no longer resolves). No AUBK card objects are recorded in KW-cards.json because no primary source for their terms remains reachable - recording them from memory or from aggregators would be fabrication.
